Castle Mountain

Hiking to the top of Castle Mountain in Banff National Park has been an ambition of mine for quite some time now. This week I had enough time and perfect weather for doing it. So here are some photos from my trip.

Last week I went for a walk by the Valley Zoo. So I guess I would say this seems 100x more amazing and now I want to do the same.

  Route finding is a little tricky on this one! I used the one described in the book ‘Scrambles in the Canadian Rockies’ by Alan Kane. 🙂

Nice photos. I like in the second photo how there is such a contrast between the “tiny” green valley and it’s stark surroundings.
